Alleged drunk driver caught five times over the limit after popping tyres

An alleged drunk driver was caught five times over the legal limit after she mounted a curb and blew two tires in Adelaide’s northeast.
Police were called to Walkerville Terrace in Walkerville at around 2.20pm yesterday to reports of the crash.
The driver was uninjured, but had a blood alcohol level of 0.262.
The 40-year-old woman from St Peters immediately lost her license for 12 months and was reported for drink driving and driving without due care.
Her car was towed from the scene to be impounded for 28 days.
She will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
