Purple Wiggle John Pearce and wife Jessie announce they are expecting their first child

Purple Wiggle John Pearce and his wife Jessie have revealed they are are expecting their first child together.

On Thursday afternoon, Pierce shared a video showing the moment they found out Jessie was pregnant, along with a photo of an ultrasound.

“It’s been a long journey, but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us,” Pierce wrote.

“We are so happy and can’t wait to meet you 🩵.

“Baby Adamo Pierce is due in December 2024.”

In the video, John and Jessie were in a car when they received a phone call confirming that Jessie was pregnant.

“Hi Jessie, we have your results, is now a good time?” one woman asked.

“Yeah, it’s good now!” Jessie said.

“First off, congratulations Jessie, that test came back positive, you’re pregnant!”

“We’re having… we’re having a baby!” Pierce said, both overcome with excitement and shock.

The happy news comes after Red Wiggle’s Katerina Mette announced earlier this year that she was pregnant with identical twins.

Pierce and his luxury fashion buyer wife have been married since 2019.

Pearce first captured hearts as a member of Australian pop sensation Justice Crew before joining The Wiggles in 2021.

His legion of fans and followers took to it social media to congratulate the couple on their happy news.

“Congratulations John and Jessie! You’re going to be great parents 🥰,” the official Wiggles Instagram published.

“Absolutely the greatest gift! Huge congratulations 🤍,” he added Sunrise lead Sam Mack.

“The most beautiful news!!!!” wrote Katerina Mete.

“I’m so excited and happy for you two! Sending you all the love in the world!

“How lucky my little girls will be to have a little friend to play with.”

Many other members of the Wiggles pitched in to congratulate the couple.

“Congratulations John and Jess! What wonderful news you share with us,” wrote Yellow Wiggle’s Greg Page.

“Johnny and Jess ❤️❤️❤️,” added Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, while fellow Blue Wiggle Lucia wrote: “My heart is exploding!”

“Such beautiful souls with the most amazing news!” wrote Yellow Wiggle Teshay Hawkins

“You two are going to be amazing parents!!! 🥹 Much love and congratulations to you both.”

Red Wiggle’s Simon Price added: ‘Congratulations. How exciting. ❤️”

And fellow Purple Wiggle Lachy was also over the moon at the news.

“Soooo Jess and Johnny!!! Hey! Congratulations!!!!! 💜💜💜💜,” he wrote.
