Carries Suicide Squad Isekai in the US

We’ve seen DC’s Suicide Squad in many iterations, including live-action movie versions, cartoons, and video game characters. Now, fans will get to see this ragtag group of supervillains come together in anime form in Suicide Squad Isekai.

Under Amanda Waller’s watchful eye, Harley Quinn, Peacekeeper, Deadshot, King Shark and Clayface are sent through a portal to another world to complete a mission where magic, dragons and orcs exist. Will they make it in time with ticking bombs strapped to their necks? Captured and out of options, they find themselves on the battlefield.

Directed by Eri Osada, the 10-episode series features music by Tomoyasu Hotei and Mori Calliope. However Joker appeared on the show, several other baddies will also appear — get ready for anime interpretations of Rat Catcher, Enchantress, The Thinker, and Killer Croc.
